Cochlear 30th Anniversary
2012 was the year of anniversaries, with another of our clients, Cochlear Ltd, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Melbourne man Graham Carrick receiving the first ever commercial multichannel cochlear implant. Rheem Australia’s e-mentoring program
Our client Rheem Australia has just launched a new e-mentoring program that aims to help apprentice plumbers complete their training through offering online mentoring from industry experts. Rheem has been manufacturing in Australia since 1937 and is the largest manufacturer of water heaters in Australia. We at Llewellyn Communications can see the value in the e-mentoring program, especially to young plumbing apprentices who may need a helping hand through their training, and have helped Rheem promote the initiative through distributing call outs for volunteer mentors. Supporting mum of three – Megan Healey on her journey from Melbourne to Sydney by providing the lawn mower she will ride on, is one of Llewellyn Communications’ clients – Briggs & Stratton. 42-year-old Megan is affected daily by her aggressive form of multiple sclerosis, which prevents her from completing the most basic of everyday tasks, from getting dressed to cooking for and taking care of her three young children.
