We’re obviously now well into the new year, but we continue to see the results of our efforts from the end of 2015 and also earlier this year. It was a busy end to last year and the new year really started with a bang.
Just prior to Christmas we worked on a campaign to get the news out about the collaboration between solar expert Solahart and Tesla Energy. It was a very exciting campaign and resulted in some fantastic and widespread coverage about Tesla’s new Powerwall home battery.
We also worked closely with our longest-standing client EcoSmart Fire to develop dynamic new content (and finesse existing content) for their new-look website. EcoSmart Fire is a leader in bioethanol fireplaces and has a number of key audiences, from designers, specifiers, builders and developers to consumers, so the copy needed to address their different requirements. Hence we had to be very careful with the style and language.
Content is definitely king these days, and we have recently been busy writing a series of blogs for Waterco Ltd, which manufactures products for the water treatment and pool and spa sectors. Waterco’s chlorine-free Hydroxypure sanitisation system is certainly providing us with plenty of topics!
Because we have clients spanning a range of industries, it means we need to learn about some very diverse topics. HBM Test and Measurement is one of these. HBM has been providing weighing and measurement solutions for over 65 years, and we have been working with the Australian operation since the end of 2014 to create awareness of the brand in Australia. HBM’s solutions are vital for use in many industries and our work has involved targeting specialist media across sectors such as mining, engineering, energy, manufacturing and transport.
At the start of the year we also had the pleasure of working with our pro bono client Deaf Sports Australia to profile the winners of the annual Deaf Sports Australia Awards. The talent of these athletes and coaches never ceases to amaze us, and this year was no exception. During this period, we also worked on a campaign to announce Albury Wodonga as the location of the 2018 Australian Deaf Games. There was excellent coverage including print, online, radio and TV. It’s now less than two years away and the preparation is already beginning. It’s going to be an exciting time!
